First Aid VR
FIRST AID VR – 4 main tasks in the application:
01. Cuts and scrapes
02. BLS on VR with dummy
03. AED – defibrillator use
04. Choking Treatment
FIRST AID BLS + AED
The application dedicated to training in first aid. During the game, we earn points for correct behavior and badges for all correctly completed challenges. The application is integrated with every phantom available on the market, so by performing pressure, we see the results of actions in the vr headset.
Language versions: English, German and Polish
Duration: about 25 minutes depending on the speed of decision
The application action starts at home in the morning just before leaving for work. A child runs to us and asks for help with a cut. The first stage is to show how to use goggles and the pilot, while learning how to deal with a cut.
The next stages of training are the procedure after arriving at the office, where we have to help a person by resuscitation on a phantom and then use AED. Next, we move to the canteen, where we have to help our colleague from the office with the silage.
The application has two transition options: with or without the use of a phantom.
During the process, we must follow the instructions not only with the remote control, but also with voice – the application reads our voice and guides the application accordingly.

The next stages of training are the proceedings after arriving at the office, where at some point the man falls. We must check, among others breathing, call for help and resuscitation. The application is designed in such a way that compressions are made on a physical phantom, and with goggles we see a man to whom we perform resuscitation. In addition, the application counts compressions and shows if we perform them at the right rate. Another interesting element is calling for help by the user of the goggles. During resuscitation, the application prompts you to call for help. The user has to shout several times: “Help!” Then the application responds to the voice command and sends us to the person for help, who in the next stage looks for AED, puts on gloves and takes over resuscitation. The user goes to the part related to AED, i.e. placing electrodes and starting the device. Next, we move to the canteen, where we need to help our colleague from the office to choke.
The application is used during first aid training as one of the training modules, most often after the presentation of the theoretical part, including the correct position of the hands and the place of compressions.
