Expert Opinion: Waldemar Pruss on Fire Safety Training with VR

At the beginning of the year, we had the pleasure of sending VR headsets with access to our fire safety training applications to Waldemar Pruss—a former fire officer, current editor-in-chief of Strażacki.pl, and author of "Firefighter: Life in Constant Action."

Initially, Waldemar Pruss was skeptical about the use of VR technology in fire prevention training. To address his concerns, several members of our team arranged a meeting with him to explain how our applications work and how volunteer and professional fire departments as well as companies and institutions, are already using our VR solutions.

During the meeting, we shared our company’s background, highlighting that some of our founders also served as firefighters. The idea for our VR training applications stemmed from real-world experience in fire safety training and the need for realistic, immersive tools that simulate fire hazards in a safe virtual environment.

To provide hands-on experience, we sent Waldemar a Meta Quest VR headset with full access to our training applications. We specifically recommended trying scenarios such as Jumping into a Life Net and Escaping a Burning Building—highly realistic simulations designed to prepare users for emergency situations.
