Implementing EHS VR's Virtual Reality Solutions at Wrocław University of Science and Technology
At EHS VR, we create innovative virtual reality applications that support education and training across various industries. One example of our collaboration is with Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where our VR solutions are being used in education and research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Geoinformatics.
At the Faculty of Civil Engineering, within the Department of General Construction, our VR applications are used in the course "Construction Production Organization and Investment Project Management." These applications facilitate the discussion of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology in the context of the 8-D dimension, with a particular focus on safety during the design and execution of construction projects. The use of virtual reality allows students to interactively explore construction-related hazards and familiarize themselves with safety procedures in a realistic virtual environment.
Additionally, our VR applications are used in diploma theses at the undergraduate level in fields such as civil engineering and occupational health and safety. Students from these disciplines assess the effectiveness of VR-based safety training, which helps them better prepare for real-world construction site risks. Such training becomes more effective because it allows for the safe simulation of critical situations and the real-time assessment of risks.
Our applications are also used in scientific research, including doctoral dissertations at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. These studies focus on the impact of virtual reality on improving safety in construction processes. The research examines the use of VR to identify potentially hazardous areas on construction sites and to evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs. Virtual reality provides an opportunity for more realistic analyses and training, which can contribute to reducing the number of accidents in the construction industry.
Through our collaboration with Wrocław University of Science and Technology, our VR solutions have a tangible impact on enhancing the quality of education and improving safety standards in the construction industry. We are proud to support the education of future engineers, providing them with access to cutting-edge technologies that will help them meet the challenges they will face in their professional careers.
